Seychelles

Seychelles was originally spawned in 1984 on the beaches of Venice, California. But right before the turn of the century, it underwent a transformation. While investigating the question of whether or not the women needed another shoe brand, the company was surprised. It found an unfulfilled market.

Seychelles realized that women and girls were changing. Tastes were starting to shift away from the mainstream and towards vintage shops and small boutiques. Females were desperate for something special; something different. Something that was hip and reflected the way they were living.

The company named this shift in paradigm the “Independent Edge.” Now it is leading the movement on the fashion front, creating shoes which embody a modern girl’s can-be-anything spirit. Seychelles has the goal to give every girl, “what she wants if she only knew she could have it."
